Dismembered series — Full Set
This set contains all three drawings in my “Dismembered” series. Each print is 8” x 8”.
The series represents Germany’s figurative descent into madness before and during the Third Reich.
HEARTLESS— A lost and hopeless Germany meets this strange, otherworldly being. Despite its grotesque form, Germany finds himself craving the monster’s touch, even when its tentacles tear through his ribs.
“You’ll be more useful to me if you’re heartless.” It whispers.
BLINDED— Along with Germany’s heart went his eyes. He surrendered them willingly, became blinded by hate.
Anything to please his one true love.
SEVERED— Germany’s dark seducer has been slain, and the flames of lust and loathing have died down.
The survivors of this unholy love have severed him in two, that he may never again be strong enough to serve another incubus.
But though his wounds have been patched, can you truly say they’ve been treated?
